We have always been blessed with extremely interesting customers and projects, Harajuku Fragrances was another to add to the list! We were extremely excited when we were approached by Gwen Stefani to come up with a new concept of promoting her new perfume range, Harajuku Lovers.

With Gwen's amazing accolades within the music industry, we thought we would see how well her fans can sing her songs, so we created in partnership with Lime IT an interactive karaoke booth.

The concept was simple, you go into the booth, where you are met with a 42" touch screen, microphone and camera, you enter your contact detail, these were required for marketing purposes as well as login information, more on this later!

You are then prompted to centre yourself on the screen as you are being filmed and then asked to start the song. In the corner of the screen you can see the Gwen Stefani music video running with the words scrolling across the screen for you to follow, you then sing your heart out.

Throughout out the song, the web cam is recording your progress and taking photographs of you as well, at the end of your rendition you are asked if you would like to see the video you have just recorded and given the opportunity to look at the pictures that were taken. Furthermore you can even bluetooth these to your enabled device so you can show your friends and family how well you did!

At the end of the day, all of the films are then uploaded to the Harajuku Fragrances website www.harajukulovers.com for the world to see, you can then leave comments about yours or other peoples videos (hence the contact details)

The booth has been touring most of the UK's premium shopping centre's.
